Objective

To launch and fund the Yawboard – the world’s first carving e-scooter – through a powerful visual campaign. The goal was to translate the founder’s design vision and snowboarding-inspired innovation into a cinematic short film that would excite potential backers and investors alike.

Studio Chef produced, directed, shot, and edited a high-end cinematic video showcasing Yawboard’s on- and off-road performance, filmed across multiple London locations from urban streets to open terrain to emphasise the board’s versatility, using professional actors and dynamic lighting setups to highlight day-to-night capability, crafting a fast-paced narrative that blended lifestyle storytelling with product engineering detail, and delivering a sleek, aspirational tone that mirrored the scooter’s future-facing design.

Raised over £45,000 through crowdfunding platforms

Praised directly by Indiegogo leadership as “the perfect funding video” and “executed flawlessly”
