The Work - Beating Heart Project
Rudimental x Beating Heart
Objective
Bring the Beating Heart, Malawi project to life with a cinematic music video shot in partnership with Haus Pictures. Celebrating Malawian culture on screen, amplifying Rudimental’s involvement, and driving attention to a release where proceeds go back to the communities where the original music was first recorded.
Rudimental’s remix sits within the Beating Heart Malawi Album - drawing from a vast archive of African field recordings, cited as 35,000 recordings across Sub-Saharan Africa, from the 1920s–1970s.
