Commercial EPK / Behind The Scenes content for ProdCo x Droga5

Objective

Capture the behind-the-scenes of Droga5 x ProdCo's Microsoft Windows commercial, directed by Mackenzie Sheppard. Set in a college library, the spot follows studious students and their playful doubles as they switch between work and play on the same laptop. The twist is that it uses no special effects or AI: all 25 sets of identical twins were shot entirely in camera. Set to "Play Me" by Fcukers, it's a playful campaign aimed at students juggling exams, graduation and new jobs.

We produced the official behind-the-scenes film and electronic press kit, which was supplied to outlets including Campaign Live, Little Black Book and MediaMarketing.com.

Studio Chef’s Role

Embedded on set at Goodenough College, London, Studio CHEF produced, directed, shot and edited the official behind-the-scenes content, including:

  • Interviews with key crew, including director Mackenzie Sheppard, DOP Oliver Millar and production designer Mark Connell.

  • On-location interviews with several sets of the twins featured in the spot.

The completed BTS film and EPK were delivered to ProdCo and Droga5, then distributed to outlets including Campaign Live, Little Black Book and MediaMarketing.com.
