Going Underground

Kiehls x Eliza Rose

Objective

Kiehl’s aimed to create a disruptive brand experience that merged skincare culture with London’s underground music scene. The event, featuring acclaimed artist Eliza Rose as DJ, producer and performer, was designed to immerse influencers, creators, and guests in the brand’s world of self-care, science, and style.

Studio Chef’s Role

Studio Chef was commissioned to produce, direct, shoot, and edit all event content, delivering a high-energy master sizzle film alongside ten short-form vertical videos optimised for Instagram, TikTok, and social rollout. On site, the team captured live skincare activations, facial treatments, and consultations led by Kiehl’s experts, set against a pulsing party backdrop. The final edits blended luxury cinematics with a nightlife edge, positioning Kiehl’s as a forward-thinking, culture-connected beauty brand.

RESULTS

The campaign achieved standout visibility across Kiehl’s UK and global social channels. The content drove high engagement among Gen Z and lifestyle audiences, reinforcing Kiehl’s cultural relevance beyond skincare.

The “Going Underground” film became a central piece of post-event storytelling, amplifying influencer participation, boosting online conversation, and solidifying Kiehl’s reputation for experiential brand innovation.

Studio Chef’s work brought the brand’s mission to life, science-led skincare meets creative subculture, in a format built for social impact and shareability.
